Master Hair Designer & Color SpecialistQuy with over 26 years of experience. She is passionate about hair, and as the owner of Synergy Salon, she believes in the integrity of exceptional service and in providing ultimate client satisfaction. With an experienced eye for detail, Quy enjoys the challenge of different hair textures, colors, and styles. Utilizing diverse techniques, she produces soft styles with scissors and creates additional texture with shears and razors. Understanding that each individual person is unique, Quy takes into account the type of hair that you have, and your needs and desires to help you realize your ideal style. Her motto is that by using the right tools and high-value products, hair care is easy to manage in everyday life. Quy is one of the few stylists in the Charlotte area to perform Brazilian Hair Straightening (BKT/BHS/BCT), a Brazilian blowout service for her clients. She has had an overwhelming response and offers different techniques to meet each client's unique demands. In addition to the Brazilian Keratin Treatment, Synergy Salon carries the Eufora products and Redken color lines. Quy also specializes in the newest trend, ombre coloring, where the color that starts at the root and the darker roots blend into a lightened mid-shaft and end. Quy proudly opened the doors of Synergy Salon, five years ago, and invites you to experience ultimate hair care and invites everyone to see what others are raving about. Quy loves to tend to her roses, tiger lilies, and lavender. She also loves cooking, especially Vietnamese noodles, spring rolls, and any kind of fish. When she has time, she enjoys reading Anne of Green Gables with a cup of tea on her front porch. And most of all spend time with her daughters.
Karin
Master Hair Designer and Natural Nail Specialist Karin come to Synergy Salon as part of a personal journey that has seen her travel from her homeland in Sweden to the US, residing in California, Northern Washington State, and the greater Chicago area. Karin has participated in the opening and operating of salons in these different areas. Her professional journey has spanned over 25 years starting as a hairstylist and soon specializing nail technician. Her passion is hair but she is happy to demonstrate her nail artistry for you. Karin is happy with her work here at Synergy Salon and moved to Charlotte to be close to her family. Her mobile family has grown very close over the years. Now Karin is here at Synergy Salon where you can become part of her new client base and see what has made her past clients loyal to her.
Latoya
Synergy Assistant Latoya is a native of Charlotte. All her life she has loved and lived for all things “girly.”. She trained under excellent instructors at the Aveda Institute of Charlotte. Our guests are totally satisfied with her top-of-the-line pampering head and hand massages. Statistical data shows that five percent of the general population applies hair relaxers to permanently straighten their curly or wavy hair straight. Latoya advises for those with chemically relaxed ethnic hair, to be cautious about certain products they apply to their hair and to stop using home perms. If a relaxer is not applied correctly it can create severe breakage and other serious problems. African-American hair has the tendency of becoming fragile after it has been relaxed. Because of this extra precaution is required since the hair has reduced tensile strength and can therefore break easily. Latoya is a mother of a lovely daughter, Aaliyah, and a son, Chanon Jr. She loves to spend time trying different styles on her daughter’s hair. Latoya grew up surrounded by a big circle of friends and family.
Mary
Synergy Guests Service Coordinator Mary is a native Charlottean from a large and caring family. She has had several administrative positions in a variety of firms over the years. Her interest in business has always been strong. She also enjoys customer service and helping customers find the right products for their unique hair is one of her main priorities. She also applies her organizational skills here at Synergy Salon to see that the shop is operating well and is stocked with current beauty products. Mary is a strong church supporter. She has volunteered many hours to teach Sunday school and to sing in the choir. She and her husband Mark have one beautiful daughter, Catherine who she loves to spend time doing things together.

I am a North Carolina State Board Licensed Nail Technician. I currently hold a BSBA Degree and AA Degrees. Since Childhood, I have had a love for Nails and All things Nail Art and Design. I am a firm believer that when you take care of your hands and feet it makes you feel good on the inside and out. I provide Full Nail Services including Manicures, Pedicures, Nail Tips and Forms, Natural Nail overlays, Designs, and much more. I take pride in the service that I provide to you.
